I was born in Châteauroux, France. As a teenager I quickly became interested in foreign languages, especially in English and Spanish. After one semester as an exchange student in 2020, I became involved with a program that allowed me to share my skills in language and culture with foreign students, and this experience sparked my interest in teaching. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Language Teaching (MALT).

My current areas of focus are:

• Second language learning/acquisition
• Francophone, Afro-Hispanic and Anglophone Black literature
• Affect theory: politics and emotions.
