Bio

Milena Rondon earned her BA in Modern Languages from the Universidad Pedagogica y Tecnologica de Colombia and her MA in Romance Languages and Literatures from the University of Missouri. Her research focuses on gender roles and feminicide in contemporary Latin American narrative. She has presented at numerous conferences, including the Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association and the Southeastern Council of Latin American Studies. She served as president of the MU Latinx Graduate and Professional Network (LGPN) in the 2018-19 academic year and has twice co-lead the Global Service in Costa Rica program through the MU Office of Service Learning.
