Bio
Cliton completed his Masters degree in English Linguistics from the College of Humanities, University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. He has been conducted research on sociolinguistics, second language learning and creole languages and he is currently pursuing his PhD in French Linguistics at the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures (SLLC), University of Missouri-Columbia. His areas of research focus on bilingualism, creole languages, second language acquisition and learning. He currently teaches elementary level French courses in the SLLC at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He has been teaching languages for about ten years now.
