About the Institute
The Interdisciplinary Migration Studies Institute (IMSI) welcomes all migration scholars and is primarily dedicated to exploring what the humanities bring to studying migration.
Centering the human experiences and stories of migration highlights problems and policies, the unique capacities of immigrants and displaced peoples, and the experience of migration itself. This new institute will work to create awareness for campus and the community, as well as foster connections for future programs and research.
