Nelson Kamkuimo is a Cameroonian student. He holds a BA in Bilingual Studies earned in the University of Yaoundé 1 (Cameroon) as well as a High School Teacher's Diploma from École normale supérieure (High school teacher training college) Yaoundé.

He taught French and English in Cameroon for five years before enrolling in MA program in French and Francophone Studies in the University of Missouri-Columbia where he also assumes a TA position. He is interested in the field of foreign language teaching, African languages, and sociolinguistics.

Nelson is also a poet and short story writer. He featured in literary magazines and anthologies in Cameroon and worldwide."
