Gather with MU’s “ShowMeUkraine” and “Russia, East Europe and Central Asia” student organizations for a reading and discussion with scholars and translators Yuliya Ilchuk and Amelia Glaser, who will join virtually. Ilchuk and Glaser translate and research some of Ukraine’s most important contemporary poets including Halyna Kruk, Iya Kiva and Serhiy Zhadan. They are deeply informed observers of Ukrainian society and culture today. Poetry reading + Q&A.
