SLLC Internship Opportunities

Why Internships Matter

Internships let you apply language and cultural skills while exploring career options. They provide hands-on experience, build professional skills, and connect coursework to real-world work. SLLC encourages students to pursue internships in Columbia and beyond.

Internship Possibilities and Community Partners

Students are responsible for securing their own internships. However, you don’t have to go it alone! You are strongly encouraged to meet with an internship coach in the A&S Career Development Office to explore internship and career development opportunities. The MU Career Center is another great resource; in addition to maintaining the MU Career Center Internships list, they can assist with cover letters, resumes, interviewing strategies, and much more.
