Don Joseph to present at Georgetown University and American University in Paris
Congrats to Don Joseph – he has been invited by Georgetown University’s Department of French and Francophone Studies and their School of Foreign Service to give a talk on March 18th in a series on “Books in Times of Crisis.” His talk is entitled: “Masculinity in Crisis: Narratives of Resistance to Settler Colonialism in Palestine and Lebanon.” In May, he will be presenting on a panel that he co-organized at the American University of Paris for their “Disparate Narrative Worlds: Crisis, Conflict, and the Possibility of Hope” conference. The panel is called: “Thinking and Repairing Care in Contemporary Fiction in French” and his talk is entitled: “Sujets fragmentés : La psychanalyse et la mémoire narrative dans Mes mauvaises pensées de Nina Bouraoui.”
