French MA student Tayo Jamiluyi’s article, “Àjẹ́kùnrin: Witchcraft, Gender Politics, and Gender Nonconformity in Yoruba Spirituality,” which he wrote for Dr. Moore’s class and got further mentoring on from Dr. Muratore, has been accepted for publication in the Journal for Cultural Research.  And, Tayo also presented a paper entitled, “The Influence of Tiken Jah Fakoly’s Reggae Music in Post-independence Côte d’Ivoire” at the University of Alabama Languages Conference last week.
