By invitation of the Vanderbilt University Department of Spanish and Portuguese, Professor Juanamaria Cordones-Cook recently traveled to Nashville with Cuban writer, scholar, and activist Roberto Zurbano to present her documentary Zurbano and his Racial Consciousness. While in Nashville, they visited the classes of Professor William Luis and Elvira Aballi Morell. The documentary and stimulating conversations were very well received by colleagues, administrators, and students.
