On April 7, Maëlle Zemirline presented and discussed her poster presentation titled "Rhizomatic Narratives and Linguistic Power Struggles: A Case Study in Feminist Creole Literature" at the University of Missouri Graduate Professional Council's 39th Annual Research and Creative Activities Forum (RCAF). Then, on April 22, Maëlle presented a paper titled "Maryse Condé’s Feminist Counter-Discourse in Traversée de la Mangrove" at the University of Iowa's 11th Annual World Languages Conference.
