In partnership with the Cambio Center, Mizzou is proud to offer the Minor in Latinx Studies

This new program will forge together the experiences and collaborations of faculty members from different disciplines with different perspectives. This transdisciplinary teamwork will help to promote a dialogue between our future scholars and the growing communities of Latinxs in Missouri, the Midwest, and the country at large.

The Latinx Studies minor consists of 15 credit hours of coursework, which includes a required introductory course (3 credits) and a required capstone project (3 credits). Students will have the opportunity to choose 3 elective classes on Latinx topics for 9 credits at different levels in humanities and social sciences, which can be tailored to their academic disciplines and professional goals.
