During Faculty Excellence Week, SLLC faculty members Sean Franzel, Mary Jo Muratore, and Brad Prager were recognized as the authors of new scholarly books published this academic year. 

Professor Franzel's book, Writing Time: Studies in Serial Literature, 1780-1850, was published with Cornell University Press. Professor Muratore's book, Écriture, différence et recalibrage. Pour une nouvelle pathologie du discours postcolonial, was published with Éditions L'Harmattan. Professor Prager's book, The Deer Hunter, was published in the BFI Film Classics series.
