Originally from Pamplona, Colombia, I hold a degree in Foreign Languages (English and French) from the Universidad de Pamplona, where I completed a research project on the use of graphic organizers to foster reading comprehension through web platforms among 8th grade students. I have over five years of teaching experience across preschool, primary, secondary, and adult education. Currently, I’m pursuing a master’s degree in Spanish and Romance Languages at the University of Missouri, with an emphasis on language teaching. My work focuses on inclusive, emotionally engaging pedagogy and the integration of sociolinguistic and cultural themes into the language classroom.
