Eric Lancaster, Assistant Teaching Professor of Japanese, recently performed with the Missouri Symphony in a concert entitled The Music of Studio Ghibli featuring the works of Joe Hisaishi, considered one of the greatest composers of his time, producing 40 solo albums and music for more than 80 films. Professor Lancaster introduced each musical piece in Japanese and participated in a panel on the film Kiki's Delivery Service at Ragtag Cinemas. For this community engagement, Lancaster's work was featured in Vox Magazine.
