Professor M.J. Muratore's Molière métatextualiste (2024) receives Prize for Literary Theory and Contemporary Criticism

Professor M.J. Muratore’s 2024 monograph Molière métatextualiste has been awarded the inaugural Prize for Literary Theory and Contemporary Criticism by the editors of the Collection L'Orizzonte - Éditions L'Harmattan. The prize-winning work was selected from among all titles published in the L’Orizzonte series of scholarly monographs between 2020 and 2025.
In their award letter, the prize committee praises Professor Muratore’s book as “an innovative, masterful study that makes us re-assess in wholly new light the work of the greatest French playwright.”
In addition to this latest honor, Molière métatextualiste has also been cited and recommended as an "ouvrage prioritaire" by the Société de Publications Françaises in Paris.
